This updated version of our Classic Hendrix-Style Hippie Weave Strap showcases lighter buckskin-colored end tabs, crafted from smooth, heavy-duty vegan leather, and is backed with matching light brown recycled seatbelt webbing. Every detail is meticulously refined, featuring our own custom-forged bronze hardware and rivets.
This particular vintage-style “hippie weave” jacquard pattern became iconic in the 1960s and ’70s, popularized by companies like the now-defunct Ace Guitar Straps. Often dubbed the “Hendrix” strap, it’s believed this style was worn by the legend himself. While original designs and other reissues often fall short with flimsy end tabs, our straps are built to last, with quality construction and thoughtful materials.
This classic red shade reinterprets the original American Classic, carefully assembled in the USA at our California workshop. We sew the jacquard weave onto recycled seatbelt material, finish it with our streamlined end tabs, and add hand-tooled stainless steel rivets to create a premium, boho vegan guitar strap.
